Meet our Owner/Instructors!
The Trautman's decided to share their passion for taekwondo to the Ashland area in September of 2023 by opening Legion Martial Arts. Mr. Dillon Trautman is a fourth-degree black belt with 6 world championships under his belt. He started his martial arts journey in 2004 and has been in love with the sport ever since. In his early teens, Mr. Trautman began teaching martial arts and eventually became the Chief Instructor at two locations in the Jefferson City area. Mr. Trautman met his wife, Heather in 2012 while participating in martial arts. She is a first-degree blackbelt and also has a world title. The Trautman's are very excited to be a part of the Ashland community and hope to move into the area soon. Mr. Trautman began working as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the Peak Sport and Spine clinic in Ashland in 2019 and has been building a relationship with the community ever since.
